A third article says Iraq Is Again A Member Of The Maritime Status Network for the first time in 19 years, so what does this tell us about sanctions? They will be part of special search and rescue and other missions at sea. This is very good news. Does it seem to demonstrate that the sanctions are going away? Patriot adds, now we have two nations sharing a port with tariff laws in place, but two very disparate currencies. This bodes well for the RV because ships have got to pull in to supply the Iraqis with imports, especially now since their industry production is still very low for most goods....and yet they have to share costs of operating this port with Kuwait, and there must be equitable similarity in the currency in order to be good partners in both oil production and seaport operations. |
