The road to Fascism starts here: S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill and SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act)/IP Protect Act
There are multiple posts on this forum about the N.D.A.A bill that is on the Senate floor and could pass as early as Monday. **So everyone please call your Congressmen/women.
Update: The UDALL Amendment was just shot down this afternoon (11/29) in the Senate. We simply can’t allow this bill to pass.
Here is a little info on S. 1867 bill.
The worldwide indefinite detention without charge or trial provision is in S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill, which will be on the Senate floor on Monday. SOPA/IP Protect ACT According to the Stop Pricacy Act the Attorney General has the right to shut down any site it pleases and claim that it infringes on copyright laws with out due process. Guess what that means Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter, Ebay, some of Amazon are all offenders to these bill.
