(Al Jazeera English: 0916 PST, April 5, 2011) Laurent Gbagbo may finally be giving up his claim to power in Cote d'Ivoire. His government's spokesman says he is negotiating a ceasefire. France says two generals are working out the details of his surrender. Hundreds are dead and a million are thought to have been displaced, after five months of political deadlock and fighting.
