Sorry for this last little comment. You see where the Watcher article says that we have four factors to worry about? One of them is a population explosion…well, I want to predict something.
One, Cliff High will be proven right. Fertility will be a real demonstrated problem and awareness of that will burst forth this year.
Two, everybody is going to be shocked by the following sudden discoveries:
Women of childbearing years are dying in unprecendented numbers around the world. I noticed this when I visited the world demographics sites. Women usually outlive men. That is no longer happening.
Fewer girls are being born period. There are many many more boys being born. These numbers are not natural…and more closely resemble China or India than the USA
THERE ARE NOT NOW NOR HAVE THERE BEEN 6 BILLION PEOPLE ON THE PLANET. Those numbers come from the CIA and have stayed the same for about 10 years despite all the wars, killing and population-curbing that they have engaged in. I happen to have read lots of studies on the problems that they have caused and birth rates and I know that the numbers have been falling steadily around the world.
