Non-violent Protests should not be broken up by force. Law enforcement officers are required to undergo training before they are allowed to use pepper spray, and most sprays are designed to be used no closer than 6-10 feet. Some of the video footage shows officers spraying within 1-3 feet, which might cause damage to the eyes if they are directly sprayed.
