SAME SCAM DIFFERENT DAY
Six months ago I had not clue one about consumer law, state or federal court procedures nor the truth about the numerous ways my rights were being violated quietly by a fraudulent debt collection industry. The last thing I saw myself doing at this stage of my life is studying law of any kind. Frankly, like many Americans, I felt the whole justice system in this country was corrupt beyond salvation and the only avenue open to the average person to seeking remedy in the courts must involve the very culprits engaged in the corruption in the first place ie; bar attorneys.
Then one day, or to be more specific, evening, I was listening to a Talkshoe call hosted every week by my good friend David Mack, a true patriot and man of unquestionable honor, on which I heard a guest from What Lies In Your Debt speaking about the consumer laws in place to protect you and I from unscrupulous collectors. My interest was piqued and alarm bells began going off in my head as I heard how the common practices I had long accepted as normal by debt collectors were in reality, illegal! On the call, the guest, Jesse, described exactly how to turn the tables on third party debt collectors and take their money instead of handing over mine or putting up with harassment.
Imagine my surprise when I found that my three credit reports, Trans Union, Equifax and Experian contained a gold mine of statutory damages which I could easily pursue and collect. It was so refreshing to hear individuals sharing real solutions to real problems without following it up with….”and all this for the low, low price of $1000.00 for a seat at our upcoming seminar”! Indeed What Lies in Your Debt is a paid site but make no mistake the cost of joining barely covers the cost of what is provided and the tireless support and help to be found there. Even better the site provides for those of us in dire financial straits unable to join, enough free information to actually be successful in going after the “low hanging fruit” contained in our credit reports. That coupled with the excellent support network provided for everyone, member or not is what led me to filing a case in Federal District Court against one of the biggest third party debt collectors in the nation and a mere one month later receiving a settlement check for $1,100.00. 
That was just the beginning of a fascinating road, one which leads to empowerment and freedom. It’s the road to knowledge and to the taking back of our basic rights and making a difference for others.
That simple law suit was daunting when I first considered taking the plunge as I had not seen the inside of a court room in more than 30 years, let alone ever represented myself in one. I didn’t realize at the time that the chances of such a suit ever reaching the inside of a courtroom were next to nil but I was angry enough when I downloaded my credit reports and saw the egregious violations against me contained therein that I decided in my usual fashion to jump in with both feet come hell or high water.
I began attending Dave’s calls every Monday night on Talkshoe and Jesse’s on Tuesday nights. I learned all about the three consumer laws constantly and blatantly being violated and what to do about it. I learned that many members of Jesse’s site were fighting to save their mortgages and winning, or going after the crooks after foreclosure and winning, all on their own, armed with nothing but true knowledge, sheer courage and a whole lot of support. I learned that not only are bar attorneys most often the epitome of the enemy in most of these cases but actually have no clue about consumer law. Even those now focusing on going after debt collectors understand so little of the actual law; they overlook dozens of violations and end up short changing the client. In short I learned to pay heed to my own words; “You Are The Answer”.
It wasn’t long before, with Dave and Richards help we began teaching others to take back their power and learn to stop the fraud themselves on our Wednesday night calls which are smaller and afford more one on one attention to individuals. Together we are learning to beat the criminals at their own game with their own tools ie; to win within the law not in opposition to it. The procedure is so simple and easy to learn if one makes the decision to fight back and not back down. What began as a scary proposition has turned into pure unadulterated fun!
Naturally it also wasn’t long before the scam artists began to find ways to cash in too. It came to my attention shortly after I filed my first suit that the individual who still runs Tim Turner’s old “America Can Be Free” Talkshoe calls had decided to cash in without any real education or experience and start selling his incomplete information on this site http://fundebt.com/ This is of course despicable and just another example of SAME SCAM DIFFERENT DAY that Turner himself is now famous for. For a mere $179.00 you can sign up to this site and find out how to “make the debt collectors go away and even cause the value of the debt to go down so far you can buy it yourself”. HUH? If every time a third party debt collector violates you they have established a statutory violation of law for which you are entitled to at least $1000.00, why on earth would you want them to go away? And why would you even consider “BUYING” your own debt which doesn’t exist in the first place? These people are well aware that they are short changing the members of that site to line their own pockets but since they don’t have the education and knowledge to teach people the truth and share with them the real power it brings, they simply leave that part of it out and collect $179.00 from the clueless.
Most of us now know there was no debt to begin with as our whole system is maintained by a series of fraudulent contracts but what the majority of Americans do not understand is that there is no such thing as a contract with a third party debt collector. Did you ever sign one? Did you ever give them permission to pull your credit information, or make harassing phone calls or report on your credit file? How many people know that if you do fall for one of their false payment plans and fork over your hard earned money that the original debt still exists? These people are parasites preying on the unsuspecting and unwary, violating your right to privacy and intimidating you into paying money you do not owe! Why would you want to merely make them go away and stop bothering you when you could instead, hold them accountable and MAKE THEM PAY YOU FOR VIOLATING YOU AND BREAKING THE LAW?
It’s a sad fact that so many have not learned to run not walk to the nearest exit when any kind of so called remedy is offered in connection with the name of James Timothy Turner. Just last week 16 people were arrested and charged with criminal federal charges in connection with an OID process which Turner was involved in a couple of years ago. He didn’t teach those seminars himself, instead he allowed his credentials and contact list to be used by Jerry Love, aka Gerald Poynter, aka Brother Love to trap the unsuspecting into another SAME SCAM DIFFERENT DAYand sell tickets. How much his kickback was I don’t know but now innocent people who did nothing knowingly wrong will be crucified by a federal government bent on making an example of any who dare to “buck the system” in opposition to nonexistent laws meant to line the pockets of banksters, criminal politicians, judges and of course the numerous scam artists who work for them like Turner. The government criminals even get a bonus on this one, as they have labeled the people arrested as part of the oh so shadowy, “terrorist sovereign movement”.
As I have said more times than I can count, PATRIOTS FOR PROFIT ARE THE SCUM OF THE NATION but their numbers are legion and their victims willing. Until people start recognizing the blindingly obvious red flags in connection with these scamsters, the fraud will continue. A true patriot with real information and remedy will not attempt unjust enrichment by sharing with those in need for exorbitant fees. Any charge for education beyond a reasonable overhead such as staff or web server or even a reasonable remuneration for the “teachers” time should sound off bells in the listeners head louder than the Muslim call to prayer in Dearborne, Michigan!
The best of patriots with real information to share charge nothing but work tirelessly to educate and help others. Those, like David Mack, are silent heroes with big hearts and true honor. The best advice I can give to those seeking truth and remedy is to INVESTIGATE THE MESSENGER FIRST before purchasing that “bill of goods” you think will lead you to freedom from whatever boogeyman you are fighting.
