Patriot Act – The tea party republicans decided to betray the voters who put them in office just like the other politicians and approved the patriot act. It having passed both houses was sent to Obama to sign. He signed it. So more betrayal and broken promises. Do not think the tea party has any remedies for you. The ship is sinking and we think it is best to jump ship while you still can.
TSA and Texas – The state of Texas was passing a bill to make TSA groping illegal. The retort from TSA was that the states have no right to do this using the Federal supremacy clause. They pretty much made this supremacy clause up out of thin air greatly exaggerating the powers the fed has under the constitution. Rather than fight Texas on the constitutional issues which are thin at best they said they would use restraining orders against Texas to stop them from enforcing the law. It is a likely assumption that the federal judges would turn on Texas. The Fed lawyer said if this fails they would stop flights from going out of Texas. This would shut down Texas in regards to air travel. Republican Dan Patrick, who was the sponsor of the bill in the Senate, withdrew it. The Fed won this one. Texas and the USA is no longer the land of the free, and the home of the brave. Looks like TSA gets to molest children in Texas without interruption as well as the rest of the country. Do rest assured this is going to get worse, much worse. They got away with this and they will escalate the humiliation to break the will of the people even further probably with a lot of body cavity searches coming next. If they renewed the patriot act they are not going to get rid of TSA. Sad day indeed.
Utah Gearing Up for A Bill Limiting TSA Groping – This is going to be similar to the Texas bill that failed. Utah Representative Carl Wimmer says, “I want the TSA officers to follow the same standards and protocols that law enforcement officers around the nation follow when it comes to searching somebody”. Makes sense but TSA and the Fed do not make sense. It is worth reporting but TSA will just threaten to end all flights originating out of Utah if it passes.
Egypt Lifts Four Year Ban on Gaza – This will allow the 1.5 million people to move about more freely. It will also allow terrorists to bring weapons in giving them very close proximity to Israel. There is a lot of talk in Egypt of ending the peace accord signed in 1979.
“Experts” Are Advocating Adding Lithium to Drinking Water – They show statistics that doing this reduces violent crime in a Japanese study. The US government may go for this as a way to reduce discontent with the government. Of course they would do this in a second. Source is here:

Gold and Silver – Gold is climbing back nicely. It is now $1537. Silver is dragging still at $37.
Currencies – The dollar is dropping again. No surprise. The Swiss Franc is shining at it now buys $1.17 USD. Canadian dollar is buying only $1.02 USD. The Aussie dollar is buying $1.07 USD having come up nicely. The Euro is buying $1.42 USD.
