.why would Arnold Murray want to study anything written in Latin about the WORD? The Romans who crucified Christ? surely you jest

Leowanta ,had a little time so I answered your last:
Merek @8:15…No, i am certain Arnold Murray isn’t concerned with any Latin translation..
..why would Arnold Murray want to study anything written in Latin about the WORD? The Romans who crucified Christ? surely you jest!
Please understand, Arnold Murray, speaks/writes fluent
Greek
Hebrew
Aramaic
Reply , the Roman Empire already was established by Caesar Augustus and conquered by 39 BC, Latin was at least spoken by most of the conquered nations including Polemic(Greek states states, and Egypt , my question ,if Arnold can’t read Latin how would he be able to read the true Gospel to the Romans via Paul( hespoke iread and wrote it like most free Roman citizens.
Leo—you speak that the original manuscripts written in Hebrew are “damaged goods”….yet the Latin translation has to come from the Hebrew manuscripts since Latin was only spoken in ROME
Reply: the Gospel to the Hebrews was read in Aramaic, the Semitic language of Jesus, Jesus also spoke Latin as he addressed the Roman Government in Latin ,all Roman official proceedings were conducted in Latin.
Hebrew is a fairly recent creation.named for the ancient name of the people, the Habiru.
Leo :sorry, i don’t buy the Roman version of the manuscript—I do believe the Roman’s Latin version is ‘damaged goods’ since it was the Roman’s that actually crucified Christ.
reply: the Roman that crucified Rabbi Yesu had nothing to do with Christianity, nor did Pontius Pilate, all that came later under the Romans,, the oldest versions of the New Testament are written in Syrian ,Persian , Latin ,Greek, and Egyptian as after all the new faith spread like wild fire and most of the texts were not written down until much later ,the Earliest Presbyters ( bishops) was Irenaeus,Please note his Latin name. A Roman bishop in 115 AD.only 90 years after the proposed date of yesu’s death. …the Old Testament of course was written in Aramaic later called Hebrew , Hebrew translations are only of historical interest to those interested in the Jewish history of faith ,Jesus could read and write however he left us no record, the Presbyters of the second and third centuries were responsible for the development of the earliest Christian bible texts .Bishop Irenaeus and later bishops firmly rejected the John Gospel and Revelations they knew the later repressed true story. John was described in the Gospel as a common and uneducated man. the recent discovery of the”Vatican Scrolls” have exposed John as a poser. He iwas not the John the brother of Yesu ,a commn mistake often made.
Leo..It’s noted:
Greek is the oldest language…the stone age language from
about 1100 BC
Reply Greek is a newer language than Sumerian , Egyptian,Urdu, Turkic Altaic, Hindu, Chinese and proto Persian, you say it was stone age language actually it’s parent is Cretan and the Stone Age called the Neo(new)Lithic (stone) ended with metalurgy in the fertile crescent and Egypt sometime about 8,000 BC. better set back your calander ,next you will be telling me that Bishop Ushers 600 bc date for the creation is accurate
Hebrew became a language around 935BC, no it was Aramaic.
Leo,Latin is now a dead language is also false.,It was spoken by the Romans later as (Italian) from 175BC to 400 AD when it became and was replaced by dialect Italian, it became the theological language of history ,philosophy and religion ….It lasted until English replaced it very recently.until very lately ,how about the last century,
Latin was required in all higher education as Lineaus named the natural order in Latin ,you had to read and write Latin ( the root of all romance languages including even the Germanic, to be a lawyer and doctor you have to have a working knowledge the reformers including spoke and wrote in Latin. Even the British scientists used it.,Leo ,please do a little more reading before throwing bible nonsense around like like red neck cow chips.
Leo….i guess you figure the Knights Templars (Romans) know all about God Almighty……i don’t believe that for a second; but hey, whatever floats your boat…………..
Reply: the Templars were French and later Spanish or Scottish. not Romans at all. I don’t think any human born knows any more about God than anyone else ,Unless you Know Momma/Daddy in the Quietude of your heart and mind, no manuscripts ever created do justice, You don’t know God and you never met Yesu nor did you meet the Christian wrecking Paul. If you make such a claim, you are blaspheming ,look out for thunderbolts from the Greek side of the Absolute Source of old brave heart ,who’s ancestors were likely to be Templars..
You said: “Jesus didn’t want followers, he wanted leaders and to be a real leader you must strike out on your own as he did.”
well it’s pretty clear you haven’t read the Bible, or at least the Book of John…..Clearly he told us to “follow him”
Reply:Sorry can’t use this quote because those coming just a few short years after Rabbi Yesu all agreed that Paul was a nasty character and John’s Gospel was a literary creation of John and Paul who denied Jewish Laws and customs.
Matthew 4:19
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Reply, this is accurate ,but in order to catch fish you must cut your own bait,
Matthew 8:22
But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
actually the oldest quote is ” leave the dead to bury the dead and follow me.
Finished it states elsewhere ,”My Fathers Kingdom is of the Living not of the Dead, leave the dead to bury the dead and follow me .
What do you suppose he meant?…….
Matthew 9:9
And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
Reply:that meant follow his path and serve him, sure wish he’d just come back and deputize the “Fed” Tax collectors.
Matthew 10:38
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Reply: the carry the cross quote is added later ,Jesus only realized he would actually be sentenced just hours before his death .
Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
An accurate quote. have you carried a cross instead of the Wanta bags for the cash lately, this seems your greatest obsession ,what do you think the Christ would say about that ,not to judge here just an afterthought.Have you suffered for Christ or just made me suffer from your inaccuracies.
Matthew 19:21
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me….get busy Leo.
Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Reply: the twelve tribes are again being judged in the UN and the world court, notice he also says says “the son of Man ,not the son of God “,had he said the latter to any followers he would have been stoned to death for Blasphemy. the Son of God is the Nicean invention when the Rabbi was commissioned with Christic Divinity.
i could go on for about 2 pages, but i won’t … i think you get the drift….JESUS WANTS US TO FOLLOW HIM!
reply: I don’t think so, He was cruixified, he wanted you to follow him in practice to the quiet of your room and heart, to Know him not just believing is crucial………. The Gospel of Thomas Didyimus tell the earliest and most accurate and for a full and accurate copy consult the Nag Hamadi Library.
Leo:the rest of your judgment of me is not worth talking about.
Reply: I am not judging the man only your understanding.
THANK YOU FATHER (I AGREE) for tolerating the colossal ignorance of our collective religious opinions.
