King Corn' - Extended Clip from Independent Documentary

If you live in the United States long enough, most of the
carbon atoms in your body will be derived from corn, as
demonstrated in the first scene of this clip.

As University of Virginia professor, Steve Macko explains,
this carbon doesn't come from eating corn-on-the-cob, it's
mostly from the many chemically-engineered, corn-based
additives in the US food supply, such as High Fructose
Corn Syrup (HFCS).

This is a segment from the 'King Corn' documentary, where
two recent college graduates embark on a mission to see
where America's food comes from--by growing it. In the
rural town of Greene, Iowa, the two friends plant a single
acre of the nation's most powerful crop, and then set out
to follow it, from a seed to the dinner plate.
